Marta Freeman Balážová is a premier jazz vocalist whose style is defined by elegance, versatility, and a captivating stage presence. Her diverse career ranges from performing as a soloist in Miloš Forman’s legendary jazz opera at the Prague National Theatre, to fronting the funk band Top Dream Company alongside Vojta Dyk and Ondřej Ruml.

 

Deeply connected to her roots, Marta is a frequent guest at major festivals like Khamoro, performing classical Roma music. Alongside guitarist Tibor Žida, she co-founded the ensemble "Lače Manuša". Her repertoire pays tribute to icons such as Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, and Věra Bílá. Beyond the stage, she shares her expertise as a professional voice consultant and coach.
